Whether you are using my AI enablers or capturing success measures through interviews, you will either need to synthesize (interviews) or scale down (AI) the results into a manageable set of metrics. This is because your survey is already going to be longer than anything you’re used to fielding. Your goal should be to limit your metrics down to 7-10 per step (depending upon how many steps you have).
The articles I mentioned in Journey Mapped will help if you are conducting your own interviews. Otherwise, I published a Blogcast that goes over a possible approach to reduce an abundance to AI generated metrics here.

Your goal should be to find the right balance of journey steps and success metrics so you can field a survey with a reasonable length. While it has been traditionally common to see Outcome-Driven Innovation surveys with 120 metrics. 🫨 This makes the survey very long because there are still 7-8 other sections beyond the job / journey map that you need to consider.
My recommendation is to use a low fidelity map (this is a setting in my prompt) that limits the number of steps and then select 7 or 8 metrics for each step. If you can keep the number below 100 you’re doing great. I’d shoot for no more than 70.
